Sabino Canyon - 7 Falls Redemption Hike

Sabina Canyon - 7 Falls Redemption Hike.

December 4th 2021

Location: Tucson AZ

Distance: 8 miles

Hiking Partners: Colin and Uncle J

Sabino Canyon is a great hike for almost anyone. I've hiked this a couple times in the past and it never disappoints. There's a small fee to get into the park but there's tons of parking. The hike starts off on a paved road and gradually starts to make its way into the canyon. After a few miles you find yourself at a little covered bench meant for the people taking the bus up to the second trailhead. The second trailhead is where the fun begins. This is where you start to hiking along the edge of the canyon.

A couple creek crossings along the way.

There's some nice places to...hangout

Dry Creek beds here and there.

We arrived at the waterfall to see it barely running. While its hard to see in this picture, the waterfall was running just enough to make some awesome pools of water for people to swim in.

All in all, this was a great redemption hike and we will be back!

Until Next Time
